Prayers to Gilbert's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Gilbert was a great man. He and Maggie (and his whole family) treated me as part of their family. I met him at TJ Cinnamons Bakery. He was a great mentor and had a great impact on my life.

The family does not know me....but may know my daughter Christina who worked with him at TJ Cinnamons in the 90's. So sorry to hear about the loss of Gil...I know he will be missed dearly and is so much loved.
I loved Gil as well as my daughter did..I didn't know him quite as well as she did but had the pleasure to talk with him on several occasions, and knew him enough to appreciate his love for people, life, and his work. I will always remember him and appreciate the influence he had on my daughter and how he helped to direct her decisions she had made in her life with her education...she has a deep appreciation for Gil as well she talked so positive of him always.
So I am certain he had a great positive impact on many others he had come in contact with that the family may not be aware of. I am so thankful I had the privilege to know such an uplifting person in my life, this world needs more people like him...But the time is coming and is almost here that God will intervene in the affairs of mankind in the world, then will all knees bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ (God's Word) is Lord
We all need the Lord in our lives and cannot live without Him...Prayers for peace and comfort of the Lord of all creation in your time of need. God's Blessings
